Since 1932 at the service of men wishing to wear classic and elegant clothing, Facis has a long story, in fact, it is a pillar of the history of the Italian textile history. The company was formed by the merger of the company Donato Levi and the Rivetti wool mills and initially given the name Gruppo Finanziario Tessile (Textile Holding Group) and then Facis (Fabbrica Abiti Confezionati in Serie = “factory producing suits made in series”). Right from the start Facis produces men’s suits and work clothes. The company was immediately recognised for the top quality materials used and for the production methods employed. Facis is quality and intuition. This guaranteed the survival of the company in the years following the First World War, when the young owners – inspired by the American model – started to think of selling men’s suits divided by size. In the Seventies the Facis brand was overshadowed by the arrival of Valentino and Giorgio Armani collections on the catwalk, to name only two. However, Facis factories are kept busy anyway, producing clothes for the most important brands of Made in Italy. Elegance, therefore, top quality materials, skilled production, intuition in the new destination of industrial production systems. Facis was not immune to the crisis but the window displays we can admire today are the result of relaunching the brand which started in 2005 when the company became part of the holding belonging to the Bucalo family. New trendy lines which, without neglecting coats, shirts and knitwear, have widened the Facis horizon by introducing a line of sportswear and accessories. Tailor-made style and elegance remain the brand’s distinguishing features.
